Drag your chosen video effect into your timeline above your footage. (We chose the animated health bar for our first example.) Scale and reposition as desired. Add a frame hold by right-clicking your clip if you would like the effect to freeze in motion for any period of time. Duplicate the video animation effect as many times as needed so the effect fits the timing of your footage.

To use the 2D animation accents, drag them directly into your timeline and scale/reposition as needed. To change the color of these video effects, you can use either Tint or Color Balance HLS (under Video Effects → Color Correction) and adjust the sliders until you achieve your desired color.

To animate any of our video effects, use the keyframes to track its movement across your screen.

Use the flashes and impact animations to further enhance the action happening on your screen!
