FAQs

How do I install the FX packs?

There is no installation needed for any of the packs. You import them into your editing program like regular footage and overlay them over your edits. Please reference our tutorials for more details. https://cinepacks.store/pages/tutorials

Where are my download links?

Download links will be emailed to you in a separate email - sometimes in multiple emails. Please be patient as the links may take up to 10-20 minutes to be sent out. Make sure you entered the correct email and also check your spam folder. If you still haven't received anything after a few hours, you can contact us at customer support.

Please know that payments through electronic checks (e-checks) may take up to a week to process and those orders won't receive the download links until after the payment clears on our end. We recommend paying through PayPal or credit card for the fastest delivery.

I'm having issues downloading the packs. How do I keep my downloads from timing out?

Unfortunately some of our packs are extremely large files, we did our best to split them up into manageable download sizes - but you still need a good internet connection to download them. We recommend downloading each file one at a time to ensure the least amount of issues.

        Download Troubleshooting

  • Run an internet speed test to make sure your internet is working correctly
  • Try a different source of internet (Coffee shop, Local Library, Friends house)
  • Hardwire your computer to the router using an ethernet cable for a stronger connection
  • Make sure you have enough hard drive space
  • Only Download each pack one at a time.
  • Try a different internet browser, like Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.
  • Make sure no one else is using the internet during the download process

Refund Policy

All sales are FINAL for digital and physical products. That means NO refunds or exchanges. If you have a defective product or issues with shipping like a filter arrives damaged, you can email us at support@cinepacks.com.

How do I access the files?

After you download the files, you will need to unzip them. On Mac, you can just double click to unzip and on Windows you can right-click to select Extract All, and then follow the instructions. If your PC doesn't already have an unzipping program, you will need to download something like https://www.7-zip.org/

Do these packs work in ____?

Yes all of our packs work in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Sony Vegas and most other editing programs. Most of our packs are video files that you can just overlay over your edits. Some may need you to adjust the blending mode to "screen" or "add"

The Paper & Money FX packs for Sony Vegas may include an extra step of keying out the green to get the transparent layer.

Can I use your free effects in paid videos? Commercial videos? Monetized youtube videos?

Yes you can use any of our effects (the free ones as well as the full packs) for ANY project. There are no restrictions for usage rights.

The only restrictions are that you CANNOT sell, rent, lease, distribute, trade, host, or otherwise exploit our products in any commercial or non-commercial manner. Please keep our effects off of torrent sites, don't send them to your friends, and don't modify or recreate our effects and sell them as your own.
