Import these video effects into Adobe Premiere Pro. (Note: This is an Adobe Premiere Pro tutorial but these video effects are also compatible with Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas, Avid, and DaVinci Resolve.)
Drag the lens flare overlay you’d like to use directly into your timeline. Right click the effect and select “Scale to Frame Size” (if needed), then change the Blend Mode to Screen or Linear Dodge (Add). You can also drag your clip on top of the lens flare effect in your timeline and resize it as needed for a more cinematic look.
