How to Use our FREE Scribble Animation Video Effects in Premiere Pro
Locate and download the Scribble Animation FX Sample Pack from the CinePacks store. This free pack contains six animated transparent assets (as well as a 15% off coupon you can use towards purchasing the full pack on our site!). Import the clips into Adobe Premiere Pro.
Drag the animation you want to use into your timeline above your footage (right click and select Scale to Frame Size if necessary). Create some movement by using the Position, Scale, and Rotation keyframes to keep the object in line with the moving subject.
If you’d like to make one of our video effects longer, no problem - they’re all easily loopable. Just make a cut in the middle of the clip, select the new clip, hold down Alt, then drag to duplicate the middle clip. Do this as many times as you need to achieve the desired length of the animated clip.
There’s even more to discover in this free animated Premiere Pro video effects pack. You can customize these video effects however you’d like by changing the size, position, color, and movement; you can also apply the Horizontal or Vertical Flip effect (under Video Effects → Transform) wherever needed. Use the Rate Stretch tool to speed up or slow down a certain animation. Create your own unique look by layering multiple video effects on top of one another.
(Note: If you prefer fewer clips in your timeline, you can select a group of clips, right click, and select “Nest” to group them all into one clip. This way, you don’t need to edit multiple clips individually.)
Another way to further transform your footage is by using the Mask tool to crop your footage inside a particular frame or shape. You can also use the Mask Expansion tool to animate your mask in and out.
If you want to give your animated video effect a more “choppy” look, use the Posterize Time tool (under Video Effects → Time) and lower the frame rate (we changed ours to 8.0).
